How Install battery status status indicator in Ubuntu 11.04
Battery status indicator is useful power management indicator for Ubuntu users. The is mostly user for the laptop user who want to use power management features in Ubuntu. The four different phase powersave, Ondemand, Normal performance can be configured. Beside this the user can also see the total percent of battery charged and discharged. To install the Battery satus indicator run the following command on Ubuntu.
1. Open terminal(ctr+alt+T) and run the following command
sudo apt-add-repository ppa:iaz/battery-status sudo apt-get update sudo apt-get install battery-status
After this process Open the startup Application and Add New program Give the name of the New program In the command line give the following command
/usr/lib/battery-status/battery-status –indicator
and add the comment.
(This process will automatically start the application when you turn on the PC)
